The Lac St-Victor Association
has existed for over 20 years.
OUR MISSION
Our association's mission is to preserve the quality of the beautiful natural environment in which we have the happiness of living, its ecological balance and the tranquility of the place. We also aim to promote community spirit and goodwill among lake residents.
MUNICIPALITY
We maintain regular contact with the municipality, the Quebec Ministry of the Environment, the Lakes Monitoring Network and other resident associations in the region. We closely monitor the water quality of the lake, conduct regular tests, and encourage all measures to preserve it.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Several residents are active within the association, either as members of the executive committee or in one of its many dedicated committees: environment, trail maintenance, lake monitoring, social activities. We value the participation of the greatest number, at the frequency and the intensity of their choice and are happy to welcome new owners.
VOLUNTEERS
The association is led by a team of volunteers. We are always happy to receive a helping hand. There are many opportunities to get involved, whether it be on the executive committee, in one of its subcommittees or on an ad hoc basis at our social events.
GENERAL MEETINGS
We hold a general meeting (AGM) every year, usually at the end of June, where we discuss issues that affect us all and elect our executive committee.
SOCIAL
Twice a year we get together for a big social activity. In the summer, we have our annual dock party, usually hosted by 2 different docks, followed by a potluck dinner in the evening. In winter, we celebrate the holidays with a dinner.
